Therapist’s Statement

I joined Family Legacy Counseling in 2023 and gained additional therapy experience as an intern at a local mental health hospital. I completed my coaching certification through the Coaches Training Institute in 2017 and have coached individuals, teams, and business owners as a life and executive coach since that time. My undergraduate degree in business from the University of Iowa led me to a long financial services career as a leader, coach and developer of people and teams. Outside of work I am an active volunteer on business and non-profit boards and for many events around the area. I am an active facilitator of horse therapy at GodSpeed Equine and served for 30 years in the children’s and music ministries at my church. I enjoy an active lifestyle – biking, walking, riding horses, traveling and enjoying time with friends and family, especially my many siblings and two adult sons.
