Therapist’s Statement

As a therapist, I view counseling as a collaborative journey—walking alongside people through challenges toward healing, hope, and stronger relationships. My goal is to create a safe, respectful space where clients can speak freely, knowing they will be heard with compassion and understanding.

Drawing on decades as both a counselor and pastor, I blend professional training, proven therapeutic methods, and a Biblical perspective that affirms the worth and potential of every person. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, I strive to help my clients uncover the roots of their struggles, build resilience, and move forward with greater peace and confidence. Along with Pat, my wife of 50 years, I was the former owner of Family Legacy Counseling. We have have three married children and nine grandchildren.  In addition to spending time with family and friends in my leisure time, I enjoy traveling, reading and strumming my guitar when I gets a chance. I’m a lover of the outdoors and I enjoy bow hunting and fishing and spending whatever time I can in the woods.
