Biography

Becky received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Northwestern College.

Becky has experience working with clients of all ages in multiple levels of care. She enjoys working with adults, teenagers, couples, and families on the many mental health issues that commonly affect people today. Her experience in each level of care (assessment, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and inpatient hospitalization) gives Becky a good perspective on how best to treat these issues on an outpatient basis as well as when it may be best to refer for a higher level of care. Therapist’s Statement

If you are searching for healing, I believe I have skills to help you along the road. Whether you have been struggling with an issue for many years, or recent life changes have made it difficult for you to function, I am available to guide you as you make sense of it all. I believe true healing involves the whole person—emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. My Christian faith is the foundation of who I am and the lens through which I approach my work. It naturally informs the way I see people, relationships, and the process of healing. For those who desire it, I intentionally incorporate faith-based principles and practices into our therapeutic work together.

As a mother of three active boys, I have grown accustomed to life getting messy and have recognized the need for flexibility in times of chaos. I find that life is full of trials (and plenty of errors) that cause us to continually seek the wisdom of God and the forgiveness of others. My wonderfully gracious husband brings laughter and light to our family in all the best ways.
As a person who loves to create, I often find as much joy in the process as I do with the finished product. This is why I enjoy working with clients in therapy – the process of therapy can often feel messy, the path can feel overwhelming, and sometimes we’ve got to go back to square one and reevaluate so we can try something else. I will walk with you through this process; we will seek wisdom and forgiveness. We will strive to leave judgment behind, focus on the process, and trust in the Lord through the journey.
