Biography
Tabitha is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Iowa with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. Her training emphasized Narrative Therapy, which helps people rediscover hope-filled storylines in their lives. She also brings experience from five years as a Child and Family Therapist in community mental health, along with leadership in church settings.
Tabitha’s passion is walking with people as they move from past wounds and destructive patterns toward lives rooted in grace and filled with hope. She provides therapy for individuals, couples, and families—offering compassion, curiosity, and care along the way. With couples, she helps foster trust, vulnerability, and love in relationships. With families, she uses the metaphor of a thriving ecosystem, where each member plays a vital role in the health of the whole.
For clients who desire it, Tabitha incorporates prayer and spiritual discernment into therapy, drawing from Christian contemplative practices and Trinitarian theology. Her desire is to create a safe, sacred space where people can experience healing, discover joy, and live with greater purpose.

Therapist’s Statement
If the weather is good and I’m out to play, you’ll find me hiking, running, or biking, preferably with some camping. I start the mornings with coffee that’s freshly roasted and freshly ground, thanks to my home-roasting hubby. One nourishing tradition I keep is gathering fruits and veggies at the farmers market. I thoroughly enjoy reading a novel while drinking tea and on occasion, navigating a new food adventure. I’m always eager for a delicious meal with friends or family while engaging in rich and brave conversations. After being introduced to essential oils fifteen years ago, I’ve discovered a whole new world in which to be creative and care for myself and those I love. My three children keep my days full and my heart glad.
